Box Top Program/Campbell Soup Labels

Do you enjoy helping out, but need to work from home? You might enjoy helping organized the box tops and Campbell Soup labels. Each year, these programs bring thousands of dollars into our school, which are then used to enhance the materials and supplies for use with the students. Volunteer Program

Each year, parent and community members donate thousands of hours to work in our school. This can range from an hour to two a week, to volunteering for a special project in a classroom. Volunteer activities include working in classrooms to monitoring the class word ring program, helping in the library, photocopying, and attending a school field trip. If you are interested, please contact the volunteer coordinator, Gerry Mattos at (508) 822-9550. Please note that you must have CORI check completed to volunteer at Berkley Community School.

Extracurricular Program

Do you have a skill or talent that you would be willing to share with a group of students? If so, you could teach in our Extracurricular Activities Program. Each program runs for eight to ten weeks, afterschool from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. Instructors in this program are paid a stipend for their services. Donations

Berkley Community School accepts donations from families and businesses to fund special school projects. If you are interested in making a donation to our school, please contact Jennifer Francisco at 508-822-9550.

Books in Celebration

“Books in Celebration” provides an excellent way to recognize important events by gifting a book to the Damon Clegg Library at Berkley Community School. Family and friends of BCS have gifted books to recognize birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, the death of a loved one, the end of a child’s years at BCS, the birth of a sibling, to recognize a favorite teacher, or any other special event. Books gifted through this program will have a special book plate placed at the inside cover of the book acknowledging the donation and the event being remembered.
